My Personal Journey: From Diagnosis to Transformation
When I first learned I had type 2 diabetes in 2019 and discovered my blood pressure was dangerously high, I felt overwhelmed. I knew that if I didn’t act quickly, these conditions could spiral out of control. Here’s what I did:
1 Nutrition Overhaul I adopted an anti-inflammatory, whole-food–focused diet. By cutting out processed sugars, refined grains, and trans fats, I allowed my body to heal. I increased my intake of leafy greens, lean proteins, healthy fats (like those from fish and avocado), and fiber-rich vegetables.
Key Result: Within three months, my A1C stabilized without medication, and my blood pressure normalized naturally over time.
2 Daily Movement
I started with just 10-minute home workouts focusing on strength, flexibility, and core stability. Gradually, I incorporated more intense sessions—bodyweight circuits, resistance bands, and low-impact cardio.
Key Result: I built lean muscle, boosted insulin sensitivity, and gained energy without ever stepping foot in a traditional gym.
3 Mindset & Accountability Chronic inflammation is often fueled by stress. I committed to daily mindfulness practices—meditation, journaling, and gratitude exercises—to keep cortisol levels in check. I also joined a small accountability group where we’d check in weekly to share wins and challenges.
Key Result: My stress levels decreased, sleep quality improved, and my overall outlook became proactively positive.
By the end of this transformation, I had lost three stone, dropped three dress sizes, and most importantly, regained control over my health. Now, I want to help women over 40—especially those with diabetes, pre-diabetes, or chronic inflammation—experience the same life-changing results.

Chronic inflammation is a silent driver of many modern health issues—type 2 diabetes, obesity, heart disease, arthritis, and even certain cancers. Common causes include:
Poor Dietary Choices: High sugar, processed foods, and trans fats
Sedentary Lifestyle: Lack of regular movement and muscle engagement
Chronic Stress: Elevated cortisol levels impair immune function
Environmental Triggers: Toxins, pollution, and sedentary work environments
